1. Medical waste sterilization drying oven

Saturated steam sterilization equipment for medical waste, is the most widely used method of replacing incinerators today. The equipment is low in operating costs and has no adverse impact on human health or the environment.

In this method, medical waste is disinfected before entering the next treatment step. Can be put into the crusher to cut into small pieces to reduce the decomposition time, and reduce the volume of waste. Can be discharged into the environment, to the usual waste disposal site.

Operation of the device:

Step 1: Feeding: Waste is fed at the top of the chamber

Step 2: Crushing and cutting: The loaded waste will be cut and crushed into small pieces, then the shredded waste will be sent to the processing chamber below.

Step 3: Heating: After shredding, the waste and all internals of the machine will be heated by steam to 138 degrees Celsius (280 degrees Fahrenheit) and pressure to 3.5 bar (51 psi)

Step 4: Sterilize: Sterilize by maintaining the temperature at 138 degrees Celsius (280 degrees Fahrenheit) for 10 minutes.

Step 5: Cool down

Steps 6 & 7: Drain water

Step 8: Finished Product: The final product can be recycled or treated as normal waste

The average time to complete a processing cycle is 30 minutes and is fully automated. The control system will save and report at the end of each cycle after the sterilization is completed. Steam, temperature, and pressure are maintained certain for a specific time. Depending on the steaming volume and material set the appropriate time. About 90% of medical waste is suitable for autoclaving, especially microbial waste. Medical waste drying oven is not suitable for pathological waste, cytotoxic or other toxic chemical waste.
