Plastic waste has always been a hot issue in the world because we now face a large amount of scrap every day. Statistics with 8.3 billion tons of plastic have been produced from 1950 to now and 60% of which are usually ending at the landfill. So plastic recycling lines are one of the optimal solutions to solve tons of backlog plastic waste today.
Plastic recycling process:
Step 1: Collect
Collecting plastic and plastic waste has been used from individuals, restaurants, businesses, then distributed to recycling factories.
Step 2: Classification
There are several popular plastic on the market and are divided into different recycling symbols. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange and classify separately. Typically, the classification is based on color, thickness and features used after recycling.
Step 3: Clean
This process determines almost 80% of the quality of waste plastic particles. Because impurities can directly affect recycled plastic production, thoroughly classifying the impurities may be available on the waste as follows. 5 common impurities in plastic waste are identified as:
- The label of the product remains on waste.
- Glue or paste
- Dirt like mud, soil and sand
- Excess food
- Small animals: flies, mosquitoes, ants, ...
Step 4: Grind - minced - crushed
Crushing plastic waste makes recycled cooking easier. Here, the crusher will perform the chopping, grinding into small pieces of size suitable for the next stage. After that, these small pieces will be classified based on the nature and quality that can be reused. If the quality is good, it will be directly for recycling. Separating plastic into small pieces also helps to remove non -pure products during screening.
After grinding, the material will be taken through the magnetic machine, sucking the material like iron out of the conveyor belt.
Step 5: Recycling
This process will test the crushed plastic particles in step 4 and classify them by quality. First, the material will be arranged in a proportion by giving waste particles floating on the water. Next will be separated by the Air Classification (Air Classification). The particles will then be closed before mixing for recycled production.
Step 6: Disinfect and distribute
