Operation principle of CHI-SHUN conveyor sludge dewatering machine:

  • The amount of dilute slurry after flocculation with cotton-forming polymer will be put on the conveyor belt for pressing. Here, the sludge is evenly distributed on the conveyor and the sludge will be preliminarily separated under the action of gravity, the concentration of solid sludge increases from 1 to 3%. The length of the auxiliary conveyor is from 1-2m depending on the design.
  • Then, the sludge is clamped between two conveyors and compressed by a roller system that rotates around the shaft. The water will be gradually removed when the conveyor belt passes through the low pressure compression zone to the high pressure compression zone (Pressure pressure depends on the diameter and density and the layout of the rollers).
  • The amount of water separated after percolating through the conveyor filter cloth will be recovered and returned to the wastewater tank to be treated again.
  • The sludge after pressing is separated from the conveyor by a sludge scraper system designed at the end of the machine and washed by a high-pressure nozzle pipe system to continue the process of separation and filtration. Conveyor slurry press runs automatically and continuously with automatic pneumatic conveyor belt alignment system.
  • The sludge after pressing has a cake shape and the sludge moisture reaches 60 - 85% (depending on the composition and nature of the input sludge).
